The requirements for the project management certifications have to be fulfilled to gain the certification. The Eligibility Criteria to complete the Project management certification process is divided into two categories and the students require to fill any one of the requirement,it is essential that the candidates must satisfy all the requirements in one of two categories.
The requirements of the project management certification category 1 is the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and must have 3 years of experience in project management that is gained from past six years of practice and must have at least 4,500 hours experience that is gained from five project management process groups and must have at least 35 hours of formal training.
The requirements of category 2 are for the candidates who do not have a bachelor’s degree, these candidates must have 5 years of experience in project management that is gained form past eight years and must have 7,500 hours of experience that is gained from five project management process groups and must have at least 35 hours of formal training.
It is very essential that the candidates have valid documents to prove that the candidates are eligible. Then the students need to pass the project management certification exam to start the training process.
After completing the eligibility process the students need to fulfil the other requirements of the project management certification program that is applying for the course this process is divided into three sections firstly the candidates need to apply either online or through paper forms the application form has to be filled with the required information.
Secondly the students need to fill the education form where the students need to file the documents for experience.
Thirdly the students need to fulfil the project management experience verification form where the students need to file the documents of experience gained during the projects. After this the students need to fulfil the Certification Fee and submit the form. The processing may take 10- 15 days’ time. Then the students receive the eligibility letter after this the students can appear for the exam.
